I live with one of the former Pirates, good old Murray McGill, the svelte chap up the mast trying to free it from the bridge in the "Shoestring pirates" book.
He may not have been one of the "glory" boys but he played his part and was one of the crew arrested.
I'd like to see all the originals no matter who they were recognised by some sort of Award from this country for changing history, something which should be part of our schools history classes.
